Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!

All of us at DFEA wish you a blessed and merry Christmas. I hope you have a wonderful day with family and loved ones.

Merry Christmas!

"As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. 'Joseph, son of David, the angel said, 'do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.'"

(Matthew 1:20-21)

All of us at DFEA wish you a blessed and merry Christmas. I hope you have a wonderful day with family and loved ones. We are excited to have all our kids and grandkids here in Austin soon. It is the most wonderful time of the year.

Today's devotion will be a bit different. I will wrap up my summary of the events of our recent Israel trip  through December 4th and pick back up tomorrow, retracing the rest of our journey. Today, I will include multiple photos for you to see that cover our trip through December 4th.

After dinner on December 4th at Between the Arches Restaurant, we toured the tunnels underneath the Western Wall. We placed prayer notes on the wall. We were each given the name of one who died on October 7, 2023, and we prayed for their families and loved ones. I have been to the Western Wall a few times, and it is always a moving experience. The women pray on the right side and the men on the left. Ladies must dress modestly, and each man must wear a kippah, a small cap worn to show reverence for God.

Please join me in prayer on this Christmas Day for every person in the world to believe in Jesus, the Prince of Peace.

As mentioned, here are some pictures I took while in Israel:
