His Way is Better

When you put the Lord first above all else, He will encompass you and guide you to where you need to be.

His Way is Better

"I have set the LORD always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved."

I have only had a few MRIs in my life. They are not very pleasant to go through. If you need to get one, it means there is something that is not right with your body. Whatever is aberrant or injured in your body, these magnetic resonating images will identify it. The radiologist will diagnose your malady, and then you get a gameplan to deal with whatever is ailing you.

The good folks at Johns Hopkins give a better description: "Magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI, is a noninvasive medical imaging test that produces detailed images of almost every internal structure in the human body, including the organs, bones, muscles and blood vessels. MRI scanners create images of the body using a large magnet and radio waves. No ionizing radiation is produced during an MRI exam, unlike X-rays. These images give your physician important information in diagnosing your medical condition and planning a course of treatment." (Source.)

I have been having shoulder pain for a few months and finally decided to get an MRI. For those who have never had one of these, I hope you are not claustrophobic. You lie down on a table, and then you are moved into a very tight space, and you have to lie still for 15-20 minutes. I have found a trick that works well. Go ahead and close your eyes before you are mechanically led into the machine. This way, you will never see the machine a few inches from your face!

As I lay there, no joke, the first song that came through on my headphones was the popular one by Forrest Frank, "Your Way's Better":

This song has also gone viral online due to the catchy dance that goes with the song. I have actually learned the dance moves! You can Google search it and see what all the craze is about.

King David wrote that he had set the LORD always before him. He could not be moved because the LORD was by his side. For the child of God today, the same can be said of you. When you put the Lord first above all else, He will encompass you and guide you to where you need to be.
